The Holophone System was presented to the U.S. Military at TACOM on March 12, 2002 to an encouraging response.

Displayed were the Pro Holophone System, A prototype Holophone-mini system and the HOLO-ROVER, a remotely operated security sentry, implementing Holophone-derived Surround Sound and video transmission to a Base operators' unit.

Most monitoring is done via headphones containing Holophone® Virtual Surround transmission.
