Toronto, Ontario, CANADA August 5, 2003 - Holophone, a division of Rising Sun Productions, Ltd., today announced the formal launch of its new website (www.holophone.com). The site was updated to reflect the progress of the Holophone Surround Sound Microphone system, the standard for surround sound recording, and to better meet the needs of audio professionals and consumer electronics companies interested in the Holophone surround sound recording technology.

"It was a challenging project to revise the website because of our growth this past year, " stated Jonathan Godfrey, CEO of Holophone. "We needed to create a resource that would meet the needs of both the professional audio and consumer electronics businesses worldwide." He continues, "Now that surround sound delivery formats are pretty much standardized, artists and engineers need tools that will enable the recording of high quality 5.1 and 6.1 multichannel audio. The Holophone system is a powerful, easy to use, and cost efficient solution."

In an improvement over its predecessor, the new site is elegantly laid out and easy to navigate. It includes six main sections targeted specifically towards audio professionals in all markets - 1) Products, 2) Professional Audio, 3) Consumer, 4) Corporate/Enterprise,
5) Technical information, 6) Demos. Anticipating future applications of the Holophone technology as surround sound continues to grow into new arenas, there is also a Concepts section.

The "In Action" section includes information from a wide variety of projects that have used the Holophone System as well as companies that have and are testing the system. At one quick glance, visitors can see the diverse ways in which audio professionals around the world - from Jamaica to Japan to Amsterdam -- are recording surround sound with the Holophone."

States Mike Godfrey, President of Holophone, "We've been very fortunate to work with some outstanding groups of people internationally that are pushing the edge of surround sound recording for live music events and broadcasting." He continues, "As artists, producers and engineers get comfortable with the capabilities of the Holophone on different programs, we're beginning to hear some truly incredible surround recordings."
