The Holophone H2-PRO made
it's first appearance for The Canadian Broadcast Corporation's
(CBC) broadcast of NHL Hockey Night in Canada. A Saturday
night institution in Hockey-Crazy Canada.
The Mic was placed at the first camera position at center
ice and provided the main surround ambience for the
5.1 and Lt/Rt feed.
The H2-PRO provides the
three dimensional feeling of being "at the game"
and this broadcast was no exception, providing millions
of viewers the opportunity to feel like they were there
from the comfort of their home theater; without the
parking problems and line-ups at the concession stands.
