Capturing footage on the street, at concerts and scripted interviews with some prominent names in Afro-Brazilian music

We've just spent two weeks in Rio doing various interviews with people like Gilberto Gil, Carlos Negreiros, Virginia Rodriguez, samba club performances, general vision etc. for Slave To The Rhythm. It's been a most productive and exciting experience that words can simply not express!

The Holophone has performed fantastically, and as you can imagine, has been a talking point and great capture medium for the Afro-sounds we're recording.

Rick and I are now in Salvador for three weeks, doing more vision of the slave port, street artists (noise is bit of an issue here...but...hey...that's life!) capoeira ceremonies, and a variety of musicians warming up here for Carnaval. >> more
