Holophone H2-PRO's were
used for the broadcast of the 131st Kentucky Derby from
Churchhill Downs in Lousiville, KY with NBC Sports.
The Main Ambience Holophone mic was hung underneath
the balcony where the main Hi-Def cameras were placed
at the finish line, high up in the stands with the "nose"
of the H2-PRO pointing toward the track, to provide
a realistic and three-dimensional ambience to the overall
Surround mix that worked with the perspective of the
Hi-Def picture and was broadcast via Dolby Pro-Logic
II to viewers everywhere. |
